My love -
There is a difference between knowing you are called, and actually walking forward in that call.
There is a difference between walking forward in the call desperately trying to make sure it plays out but actually it's YOU pushing to prove your worth and ability, rather than the Spirit of God bringing the Kingdom of God through you.
And there is a HUGE difference between getting to know and even operate in your spiritual gifts, with supernatural vision and faith to see it come to fruition but it's a counterfeit, and the actual thing God put inside of you to be His walking word,
manifest.
Flat out:
You know and I suspect you've always known in some way that you are here to be the burning, roaring, raging at times, river of the Lord in human form, as you see and know that THIS right here?
Is the fire and flow He put in me to be.
Let's be real -
It is the most painful, horrendous, scary and tragic thing to realise you've been building or in any way even carrying an element of the counterfeit of what God designed for you to see, to be, and ultimately to carry and release for His Kingdom.
I know because I did it, I was it, I became it, and I was proud of it! With bells on! Screaming to all who would listen about being more, creating more, pouring out more, but it was all led by SELF.
Deep down, I knew.
This ain't it.
But because I also deeply knew I am called as a voice and a vessel, a conduit between the spiritual / supernatural realm and this one -
And I also knew that I have an ability to see and know things in the spirit, and that I am here to lead, coach, mentor, and write and speak to an army of women similarly called as messengers of fire -
And because I so deeply long to see you walk in the call on your life and walk away from anything which would obstruct or derail that, I was honestly ... confused. Why didn't it feel right when I knew I'm so called?!
I continually tried to figure out what I was missing, 'blank slate vision' the thing and see what it REALLY was I should be doing, but then always come back to some version of writing and speaking and pouring out a thing around destiny and purpose and being fully you NOW!
It honestly would have made more sense to me if I found out that secretly all along I was born to live a quiet little life tending to a bookstore or something.
But the thing is ... if we're called to wage war on the frontlines and be that kind of unapologetic voice we just, well, are.
It is what it is!
Eventually I admitted what I already deep down knew but just couldn't KNOW that I knew, let alone know to articulate, until, well, I could:
The missing piece was God.
Being all in.
Him first.
Fully submitted and surrendered.
Beginning to live from KNOWING I was chosen, rather than 'feeling' it.
And answering the call accordingly.
Of course I had NO FREAKING CLUE what exactly that full surrender and cry to be convicted would lead to.
I had absolutely no clue what was about to happen in my life (aka everything built by ME would start to implode, with me letting it do so willingly), and no clue at all what it really meant to put God first.
Because despite 40-something years at the time of being 'Christian', and having grown up that way, with a pentecostal church, family, pastor Grandfather ...
I had no real clue at all what relationship with God meant, looked like, WAS, and certainly no supernatural encounter of His grace or His person.
Which meant that despite my years of talking about and fervently preaching about identity and being unapologetically and fully you, I had no clue at all, actually, of what identity even was.
Let alone what it looked like manifest in right action.
Enter 3.5 years of absolutely incredible wild supernatural encounter | shedding | stripping | hiding | wilderness | refilling, and all in all carried away in awe and wonder of God vibes while my business and life and every bit of me being me or who I thought I was completely fell apart and was simultaneously renewed, #GodandTrueDestinyVersion.
Maybe you can relate! In whatever way you can relate. To the complete 'what even is happening' of walking out of the former and letting God really show you that new thing!
It is the absolute best and the absolute most terrifying all at once.
I say all of that to say - of course THIS particular container and course The Identity Switch really couldn't come out sooner!
God was walking me to a place where teaching on identity again would come from the overflow of who He brought me into being, rather than from a former version of me who was still waiting to be.
And?
HE FREAKING DID!

The cloak of needing to look better, lose weight, have more money, have a bigger audience, or have finally worked out the perfect strategy.
The cloak of imposter syndrome.
The cloak of BUT HOW?
The cloak of who you think you need to become before you can finally just BE.
Oftentimes it barely gets to 10am and we already find ourselves weighed down by an entire wardrobe of identities God never gave us! Now imagine the compound effect of that over time!
Meanwhile you're wondering why you can't seem to move forward in the thing you KNOW you're here for.
The Bible is so clear on this, and we have to HEAR it daily!
PUT.ON.CHRIST.
Not put on a more successful version of yourself.
Not put on the identity of somebody who has finally figured out how to make the vision work.
Not put on the identity of the woman who has achieved enough to be qualified.
PUT.ON.CHRIST.
And allow everything else to fall away.
This is not a one-time intellectual decision about who you are.
It's a daily, ongoing surrender and renewal.
Sometimes?
It's an hourly one.
And sometimes it's the very next thought, decision, or action in front of you.
THE IDENTITY SWITCH IS NOT ABOUT LEARNING HOW TO CARRY YOUR CALLING BETTER WHILE STILL CARRYING EVERYTHING GOD NEVER GAVE YOU.
It's about putting on Christ.
And walking forward in HIM.
Because the truth?
YOU CAN KNOW YOU ARE CALLED AND STILL BE TRYING TO WALK FORWARD WITHOUT THE POWER TO FULFIL THE CALL.
THIS is where so many of us absolutely born for it women end up repeatedly just not doing the thing.
We know the vision; we've seen it a million times! We acknowledge our gifts! We accept the freaking assignment! Then we take off running at some kind of crazy road runner in pink stilettos (ok FUN though for a bit!) pace to do it in our own strength!
A lot of the time, if we're honest, we're scared to admit that if we stop trying to produce the words, manufacture the strategy, create the result, and create our OWN sufficiency and success, we'll find out we don't really have anything at all.
But that is NOT WHAT GOD SAYS.
It's not by our might.
It's not by our power.
It's by HIS SPIRIT.
And the entire way we live, create, lead, build, speak, expect, and steward what He has given us changes when we finally understand that.
Changes? Blows.right.up. To where it is meant to be! Oh yeahhhhhh that comes with spiky bits. And? Were you wanting some bland middle road kind of thang, because you know there's plenty of internet out there for that life!

Over eight weeks, we're going to uproot what God never said it is, become established in who He says you ARE which you know it’s time for, and walk forward in the fullness of everything He has given you for this season to see, carry, and release.
PUTTING IT OFF TIME IS OVER!
Girl it is time to UPROOT the identity you built when you didn't yet know how to let God be your sufficiency. Boy oh boy this is one of my favourite personal journeys to have walked through and to be blessed to keep walking through!
The truth is that before we can fully walk in what God has given us to carry, we need to be willing to see and release everything we've been carrying that He never asked us to. Yeah this is an ongoing thing! And YES. It also gets to be a let's go deep with Him NOW thing.
This week we're saying yes and Amen to casting off and over to God the identity built through proving, striving, achieving, performing, protecting yourself, or trying to become sufficient enough to bring your vision to life, and the version of you who may have been doing all the right things, even using the gifts God gave you, but was still trying to be the source of her own success.
Think:
Recognising counterfeit identity, including the parts that look successful, spiritual, or aligned with your calling
Where you've been operating from self-sufficiency rather than the beautiful rest of the Lord and HIS power through you
Recognising the repeated fork in the road between faith and self-led striving (often a more than daily thing!)
Releasing the need to prove, sustain, protect, or establish yourself, phewwwwww
What it means to surrender the WHOLE thing, not just the parts you can comfortably release. How to wait on and receive the Lord for that.
Becoming willing to allow everything built outside of His leading to be stripped away, renewed, or rebuilt according to His purposes and yes that is a joyous and even fun thing! You know it!
This week is all about your identity in Christ, and the daily decision to put off evvvvvrrrrrrrthing God never asked you to be. Surrender is one thing. Walking NOW boldly in who you are is, well, a direct follow on!
What's so cool here is that you get to NOW be in certainty, confidence, a powerful voice and message, and know that it gets to go out to who it's for, not because of what you've achieved, how far you've come, what you've overcome, how others see you, or even what you believe you're capable of, but because of your identity in Christ. Who you are because of and in Him.
PS. If you didn't catch it yet. The identity switch is Jesus. He is the switch, and then only switch to true identity!
This wee is where we establish the foundation of knowing you are chosen, appointed, equipped, and sent, and locking in what it actually means to be living from them.
All this and more, because you KNOW each week is entirely God led in and around these focal areas!

Knowing you are chosen, called, equipped, and sent - what that looks like in practice today
The difference between understanding your identity and walking in it, plus how to let that walk be a beautiful daily flow.
Recognising the false identities and cloaks you put on throughout your day, rather than getting mired in 'em (He did pull us out of that miry clay!)
Kicking to the curb the endless cycle of waiting to become ready.
What it means to BE HER NOW, meaning what it means relevant to your work, your showing up, your content, your creativity, your sales, and the ministry of you being you for the Kingdom.
How all that ^^^ gets to blend together not be some horrible us-constructed list of endlessness
Allowing your identity in Christ to become the foundation of your decisions, expression, leadership, and everyday life and flowing in His grace by the Spirit of God for that. Think of this week as firm foundation to release the vision beyond the vision He has given you and see it fly!
Week three is about saying yes to EVERYTHING God has for you for right now.
This could be the message. The ministry. The business. The books. The speaking. The leadership. The nations. The people. The work.
The whole thing and then some, because of course as you walk forward in it He reveals more.
It's time to stop reducing the vision to what you can makes sense, what you feel ready for, what you know how to move forward with!
Let's rock -
Discerning and becoming CERTAIN about the vision God has given you.
Recognising the gifts, message, and assignment He has entrusted to you for now
The difference between God's vision and your own plans for how it must unfold, how to actually move in His grace and by His word
DESTROYING that thing we all do of small-ifying the vision to something manageable or understandable for now
How to step into permission to acknowledge the FULLNESS of what you know you're here for, so that you can grab hold of it with fervour and be the all in sent one you're here to be
Recognising the sphere of influence and authority God has entrusted to you, and taking it so seriously and reverently to do so
Saying yes before you know how, on repeat, and walking forward from this day with everything He is already causing to have life through you and which - as we keep comin' back to you - you flat out know it's time for!
Consider this week the AUGHHHHHH it's actually happening week!
Being dialled in and underway walking out the vision is what it is TIME for sister, and I know you know that! It's literally why we're here.
Which also? Is why we are HERE, in this week.
Because authority, grace, the Holy Spirit's enabling, and being called does not mean you can run ahead of God, and it would be crazy to try do so!
Truth us high-achievers sometimes don't wanna know?
It's not enough to have had a revelation of the vision.
It's not enough to know your gifts.
It's not enough to have been given the assignment!
Jesus told His disciples to WAIT until they were clothed with power from on high. We still need to live the same way.
This can be the most impossibly difficult thing (oh how I know it!), but it is also undeniably the very best thing (oh how I know it!) and truly a wild supernatural thing which we should be expecting each day before we put fingers to keyboard or face to camera in any way!
This week is about:
Understanding the authority you've been given in Christ.
The difference between being appointed to an assignment and being #poweredbygrace to walk forward in it.
Grace as God's enabling and provision rather than your own thang you somehow cobble up and run with
DAILY holy of holies time, and letting it be a non-negotiable you genuinely wouldn't even dream of missing. The practical how of this also!
Hearing and discerning His voice as a way of daily living
Recognising the difference between Spirit-led flow and you-generated push
Strategy from heaven on repeat, from the big to the small!
Knowing when to move, when to wait, when to jump head over heels into the 'it's all happening at once' vibes and when to slow down and breathhheeee with the one thing
Faith and discipline for fresh fire daily
Letting your writing, speaking, creating, selling, outpouring, everything be from the overflow!
Best week ever? I think so! Although realistically, the better it gets the better it gets and keeps on gettin', so prepare for ...
BOLDNESS,
is what God has brought us here form and?
Releasing what He has put in you is a way of being which is literally you becoming and being His walking word. Not-side-note do ya THINK He's gonna give you the right words and outlook then? He is!
This is about so much more than your own revelation, than strategy from heaven, then a vision God gives you also being one He causes you to walk forward in.
This is responsibility to the assignment, and the assignment is to further the Kingdom of God!
This week brings together identity, spiritual gifts, message, outpouring, offer creation, leading from fire, and what it means to be a voice and vessel of God plus so much more besides!
We'll flow with:
Understanding yourself as a vessel through whom God releases what His fire and by the way it is a PERFECT match for you being you
Isaiah 55:11 and the promise that His Word will accomplish what He sends it to do - knowing you are that word!
Recognising and operating in your spiritual gifts from KINGDOM. Realising how powerful that zoomed out of your own life perspective is to free you up to actually do the thing all out!
Trusting Him to give you the words, voice, fire, everything right as you need it
Letting the message be the message and the fire be the fire no matter what. This is what faithfulness in the work of your hands looks like!
Speaking, writing, creating, teaching, and leading from what He has placed within you.
Releasing the need to continually assess whether your expression is good enough, strategic enough, or producing enough, in fact forgetting that that is even a thing, and free-flowing with being you!
Trusting that what He has given you to carry is not dependent upon your ability to manufacture its impact. THANK THE LORD FOR THAT!
In the Identity Switch that is JESUS your business, message, ministry, content, offers, and work through an entirely different lens.
I've loved this saying He has given me for years now -
There is a different Kingdom. And a different way!
As God's dreamers, leaders, entrepreneurs, and those called to BE His walking word of fire and truth, we get to walk in and from that place of being seated in heaven NOW.
We literally need a different paradigm for everything we do, and every bit of how we build!
But how often do we seriously stop and allow that, wait for it expectantly, know He will cause it to flow through us when we do?
The question is - what does it actually look like to operate in your God-given identity when you sit down to create?
When you're deciding what to sell?
When you're looking at numbers?
When you're making business decisions?
When you have a vision for something enormous but can't presently see the next step?
When you step forward to speak, whether to one person or 10,000!
And how about when you truly decide it's GO time? Does that mean you are gonna make things happen finally, or something else? And how?!
This week we'll be:
Continuing to create deeply intentional content from what God has given you to release rather than what you believe will perform
Building offers from what you're genuinely and in certainty you find in His PRESENCE called to teach, mentor, facilitate.
Allowing God to establish your thoughts, steps, and strategy on the big AND the small
Recognising when you're operating from faith versus trying to make something happen. Dealing with it rightly!
Releasing worldly paradigms around what it takes to grow and succeed. (VERY FUN ACTUALLY, because the truth is we hate to do it the world's way when we know there's a different way for us, and it's a supernatural thing!)
Making business decisions from the identity of a woman who KNOWS who she is and what she carries, that the call on her life IS one already favoured and led by God
Walking forward in obedience without demanding to see the entire pathway!
Understanding how to steward the work of your hands and expect overflow financially and otherwise without taking back control of what belongs to God. Speaking of ...
YES of course we have a week in The Identity Switch all around prosperity, multiplication, supernatural return, and the expectation that God will establish the work of your hands and He will do it BEYOND WHAT YOU OR I CAN ASK, THINK, HOPE, KNOW, IMAGINE! According to His power at work in us!
This is not simply about surrendering the outcome.
It's about surrendering the HOW while expecting God to fulfil what He has promised.
It's about recognising that the work of your hands is not something you have to establish in your own strength.
And it's about taking a deep breath to know that you can and also must expect the vision, message, business, and assignment He has given you to bear fruit according to His purposes.
YES we will be dealing with shedding and casting off some beliefs and fear which never came from God, also dealing with things from a bloodline perspective as well as from your own life which may currently be keeping you out of what God has written for you.
Think:
Renewing and (ahem) DIALLING ALL THE WAY UP your expectations around what is possible through God, and what you should rightly expect
The difference between trying to force success and expecting God to establish your work.
Expecting supernatural multiplication and Kingdom impact because it's part of your call, your assignment, your now, and it's for His glory! We will sit deeply with what it means to truly believe God on this, and what in you gets to be handed over and dealt with once and for all (meaning: you will deal with it by the power and authority He's given you), such that His outlook for your success becomes yours
Wealth without sorrow and God-given power to create wealth. What this means precisely for YOU.
The literal 'how' of stewarding prosperity to resource and further the Kingdom. Again - what God is saying to YOU on this.
Trusting that what God has given you to release will reach those it is for, being in obedience with your finances, your faith, your faithfulness to keep walking forward, and your giving, while not always needing to be the one 'seeing' how it then works beyond you
Expecting to come before the people, nations, leaders, and spheres of influence you know He has appointed you to
Dialling the vision up ever through time with Him and the leading of His Spirit in you, as you say yes Lord, yes to all He has given you to prosper in, and prosper abundantly!
In week eight we bring it all together with the discipline, flow, and everybody embodiment by grace of simply,
being her.
On assignment.
Anointed.
Appointed.
LED.
And firing shots for the Kingdom at every turn she makes.
Truth:
The woman who knows she is called but continually postpones the work is not yet walking in the fullness of what she has been given.
The woman who waits until she feels inspired, ready, certain, or able to see the outcome is still negotiating with the assignment!
And that is just no longer who we are. Amen?!
SO LET'S LOCK IN:
The discipline and flow of seeking God FIRST.
The daily YES of putting off false identity and putting on Christ, in practical boots on action
The discipline and flow of being the one who does the work
Letting the stewardship of your assignment be part of your everyday life, letting that be an 'of course', and letting it be from rest in Him
Moving beyond needing to continually decide whether you're going to answer the call, thank God that gets to be done
Holding the line when the visible evidence hasn't yet caught up with what you KNOW
Faith, faith, faith, continually walking forward in faith rising by HIM because you have actually walked fully over that line of this is who I am and it's no longer an option.
The daily return to drop so deeply into His presence that you no longer try to battle your way out, and what He has for you simply comes: missive, message, knowing, strategy, equipping, supernatural energy, all of it
Continuing to walk forward as the woman who knows who she is, what she carries, and WHO goes before her. Seeing this in action in the oh so many things you've postponed or doubted
In other words: identity locked and loaded and switched all the way in to what it actually gets to be!
I know that's a lot. And truth is, there's so much more, because what God has shown me is the entry point for us. There are so many aspects of His right becoming for us which get to unfold as we walk forward.
What I want you to know now is JESUS is the identity switch. And you don't need an eight week journey with me for that! But if this IS for you -
You know there is a God-sized vision on your life, and that it's bigger even than what you can imagine.
You are the woman who has seen it, felt it, heard it, dreamed it, written about it, prayed about it, and perhaps even begun to bring it to life.
The woman who knows she is here to write, speak, lead, create, build, minister, and bring something into the world that is FAR beyond what she could manufacture in her own strength.
And yet?
There are still places where you have been waiting.
Still trying to become ready.
Still trying to figure out how.
Still looking at what you need to do to make the thing work, grow, sell, or succeed.
Still allowing the visible evidence of your life or business to dictate how boldly you walk in what God has already shown you.
Still picking up identities, expectations, and responsibilities God never asked you to carry.
Still attempting to walk forward in a call you KNOW is from God, while relying on your own strength to fulfil it!
This is for the woman who is ready to stop negotiating with the call.
Who is ready to release the counterfeit, stop attempting to be her own source of anything, and ready to become established in the identity, vision, message, and assignment God has given her, now!
Not just in theory.
In every single part of how she lives. Creates. Leads. Builds. Expects. And in every last beautiful bit of her YES.

Because I had to LIVE it. And in that, I had to - got to ;) - wait until such time as God truly brought it through me.

Hi, I'm Katrina Ruth.
I'm a writer, speaker, entrepreneur and founder of Katrina Ruth Ministries, and for over 20 years now I've been writing, creating, teaching, speaking and building online.
Over that time I've built a multiple 8-figure online business, created hundreds of courses, programs and bodies of work, written and published dozens of books, spoken around the world, and been featured in publications including Forbes, Entrepreneur, Success, Business Insider, Fast Company and more. This was before I was convicted by the Lord and surrendered my life to Jesus.
The work I'm here for now is very simple.
I call leaders further forward into who they always were in God, and into the work He actually put them here to do.
For me, everything changed when God began stripping away what I had built from identity, ambition, performance and my own strength, and teaching me what it really means to let HIM lead.
Not to build something and ask Him to bless it.
Not to take all my gifts, abilities, experience and ideas and decide for myself what should be done with them.
But to come into His presence, hear what He is saying, and let the work come from THERE.
God already knew who He made you to be.
He already knew the work He would place in your hands.
And He is perfectly capable of leading you into every last bit of it.
My part?
To keep saying yes to Him.
To pour out what He gives me.
And to call you further forward into doing the same. I absolutely love it. And I love watching YOU walk forward in the work He has given you which you love!

You already know.
You know there's more.
You know it's the whole entire vision.
You know you're here to write, speak, lead, create, build, and bring a message of fire to the world.
You know there's something inside of you that was never meant to be contained, reduced, explained away, or continually postponed until you could figure out how to make it happen.
And deep down?
You know the answer was never going to be found in becoming more capable, more ready, more successful, or more certain of yourself.
The answer was always going to be found in HIM.
In surrender.
In identity.
In knowing who you are because of WHOSE you are.
In putting on Christ.
In being clothed with His power.
And in finally answering the call accordingly.
Not when the numbers say it's working.
Not when the pathway makes sense.
Not when you've figured out how to make the whole thing happen.
NOW.
Because the woman who knows she is called and the woman who WALKS in the fullness of that call?
Are not necessarily the same woman.
And you already know which one you're here to be.
