Are you ready?

Are you willing?

To be freed of the glass house you have built or around yourself? The surrounds which have felt so real, so concrete, and even, so needed?

To be VULNERABLE, ripped and rent and made raw by the Spirit of the Lord, such that any strength, fortitude, boldness, and also DECREE, remaining is and only can be -

Him.

Are you willing to hand over? The way you wanted, also needed, for it to look? The push, and pursue, which came from you? The looking and being and appearing a certain way? The endless seeking of the right standards or significance to meet, and then the relentless and also endless hustle to meet ‘em?

Are you willing to let go of ALL of it, knowing that it could well be that ALL of it is what God will take?

I hear Him saying even now -

“Will you trust me? That my ways and thoughts for you are higher, greater, better, immeasurably more than you could think or know to even imagine?"

Scarier and more exciting still - perhaps - !

“Will you trust me to CARRY you, to be the one backing you, positioning you, placing you, making you?"

“Will you surrender the bits where you have been oh so carefully ‘making sure’ you’re still … something? Something you thought you need to be, in order to get there, or be free?”

Dear one -

This is the antithesis to most of what the internet and world will tell you to pursue.

This is ‘let it be NONE of me Lord, and all of you'.

This is ‘take what needs taking. Break what needs breaking. Shake what CAN be shaken, and wake your right Spirit in me’, except this time we’re not just saying it relevant to what we BUILT ...

we are saying it relevant to who we built OURSELVES into being.

Counterfeit identity,

shattered.

Yes that is unnerving, and it’s weird if it’s not! Because when what is on you, including the bits which were so intentional and seemed to be good, is shattered, broken, and gone, well -

what is left?

Is it enough?

And will it get you there?

The reality is we do not and can not KNOW what is left and where it will take us until we say yes.

But we do know this:

We simply cannot and should not desire to want to spend another day in which we forge ahead valiantly desperately hopelessly with what WE think it is, with who WE assume we’re meant to be being, all the while pleading for more of Him yet showing up for more of US.

Dear one - !

We cannot do this alone! I cannot do this alone! Me left to me would want to rule and create and make ME, all the while trying to fix and heal me with more of me!

That is what flesh does.

That is what the world teaches.

That is what SELF,

pursues.

And the devil celebrates that if he didn’t get our salvation at least he got our time on earth and destiny,

derailed.

That’s a best case scenario.

So no.

YOU, nor I, can ‘fix’ or ‘figure out’ or way into right identity. Alignment. Assignment. And the FULLY UNMASKED TRUTH of who and what God brought us here to be,

pour through,

and do.

But.

He.
