I don't know about you but I think a BIG thing we need to collectively get over in the Christian world is the idea that it is bad or wrong to make money.

That we should apologise for making money, or trying to make money, or making too much.

I mean, look. Obviously there is a verse in the Bible which tells us exactly how much money is too much, and that verse is ... erm ... hang on? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Seriously though.

This is a big thing. And I'll be straight up when I tell you that part of my journey of coming fully back to God after being a 'self-made multi-millionaire' for years, emphasis on thinking everything was about my own abilities, is I got SCARED of making a lot of money again.

I got scared of accidentally being back in my own strength, or back in money idolatry.

If I'm honest ... and this is a bit embarrassing to admit ... I started to assign some sort of low-key extra special holiness to being okay with less.

Spoiler alert: I am actually okay with making less money, with having less stuff, with alllll that has been stripped off of me in my return to God, with selling or shedding whatever He says to, oh AND -

I am also okay with making millions. Hundreds of millions. Or whatever.

Because actually?

I am okay with being wherever God places me, doing whatever He leads me to do, creating, selling, living, breathing, accordingly!

STOP BEING SCARED TO MAKE MONEY

I'm okay with less. I'm okay with more. I'm okay with anything. I'm okay with everything. So long as it is in HIM.

Here is what has taken me a minute to realise I need to not be okay with:

The idea that being righteous means treading carefully in case you accidentally did a you thing again not a God thing.

Whewww ... this applies to a lot more than money!

The truth is that as His children, we are led by His Spirit. At a certain point we need to let go of the idea that we might screw it up and trust He is doing what He says He is doing in His word, and that His ability to be God is not dependant upon whether or not we get it right.

Living a life of daily surrender, repentance, and a genuine heart posture to be all in by God, seeking Him as He says to, obeying when led, all of this wrapped in the imperfection of our humanness and cloaked in His grace means -

at a certain point you need to stop worrying about mis-stepping and be who God made you to be.

For me personally what that has meant in this right now season is (and this surprised me!) I get to actually go into a phase of being super strategic about income growth, and reaching more people with the message and abilities He equips me with.

Aka: get to marketing, girl. Not just writing and pouring out the things, but active strategic marketing of a new faith-led funnel.

Specifically in leading in to this He told me:

Stop making it about you! You are being disobedient in bearing my fruit, and you need to stop avoiding teaching on making money when my children need to learn how to see and harvest the seed which is on the ground!

He told me:

I need my warrior daughters (and sons) equipped. You need to equip my children with what I have equipped you with, so they can be fully focused in the places I am calling them to!

This led to me obediently creating Provision, God's Money Course, which we are currently underway with, and now?

It is leading to me making a special invite to just a small group of you.
